Max Garcia’s new contract with Cardinals worth up to $3 million

The details of the contracts the Arizona Cardinals are giving to their newly-signed free agents are beginning to come in. Among the players they have added so far is guard Max Garcia, who spent the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos.

According to reporter Adam Caplan, his one-year deal is for $2 million but can be worth as much as $3 million.

Garcia is coming off a torn ACL from last season and does not project to be a starter. He has been a starter so he gives the team good depth off the bench.

The upside of his contract is most likely tied to playing time.

He has played mostly left guard in his career but has played on the right side. He started four of nine games in 2018 but all 32 of the previous two seasons.
