Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” was sentenced to 15 years for Matthew Perry’s death as she apologized for having a “hand in this tragic outcome.”
Sangha, who pleaded guilty to five federal charges including distribution of ketamine resulting in death, apologized for the “unimaginable” pain caused to Perry's family.
Prosecutors recommended a 15-year prison sentence for Sangha, citing her “cold callousness” and disregard for life, after she sold 51 vials of ketamine to Perry's assistant.
Perry's death in October 2023 was attributed to the acute effects of ketamine, along with drowning, coronary artery disease, and buprenorphine.
Following Perry's death, Sangha deleted text messages and was later found with significant quantities of drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia during a search of her home.
