Mateusz Musialowski continued his good week by scoring a hat-trick as Liverpool opened their FA Youth Cup campaign with emphatic victory.
Musialowski took his tally to four in five days and Luke Chambers netted a penalty as the Reds under-18s beat Fleetwood Town 4-0 at the Academy in Kirkby on Saturday evening.
Marc Bridge-Willkinson's side, who reached the final of the competition last season, will now entertain Burnley in the fourth round in a tie that must be played by January 15.
Liverpool, with Kaide Gordon in their starting line-up, almost went behind early on when Covy Smith hit the post for Fleetwood.

That, though, was the nearest the visitors got, with Liverpool going ahead on the 26th minute when Gordon was fouled inside the area by Oliver Leggett and skipper Chambers converting from the spot.
Musialowski - who had netted on Tuesday in the 1-1 UEFA Youth League draw at AC Milan - then scored twice before the interval, his first a cool finish after a drive into the box, his second another fine effort after Liverpool pressured Fleetwood into a mistake from a short goal kick.
And the Pole completed his hat-trick midway through the second half when, having won a free-kick, his effort from the dead ball took a deflection off the wall and went in off the post.
Liverpool U18s are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Burnley in U18 Premier League North (kick-off 11am).
