Massive home for sale on leafy road near coast

A townhouse dripping with period character has gone up for sale in a sought after coastal location.

The semi-detached character home is on De Villiers Avenue, a leafy stretch of road near the many amenities of Great Crosby. It has a staggering six bedrooms and looks as if it was used as separate residences.

The Rightmove listing said the "spacious townhouse" boasts "bags of character and charm" and would be "ideal for any buyers". The location is also excellent, with the house within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops.

The front lounge has a beautiful bay window and statement fireplace, as well as decorative coving and ceiling roses, which add to the property's historic allure.

The family room to the rear of the house is a decent size, while the open plan kitchen diner boasts a breakfast bar and access to the garden, which is deceptively large.

There's a small patio, a lawn and mature trees adding an element of privacy, as well as a small outhouse which could potentially be converted.

Upstairs, the first floor boasts two huge bedrooms, a smaller bedroom, a bathroom, and even its own kitchenette, complete with an oven and space for a washing machine.

The top floor features another three bedrooms and a shower room.

Both shower rooms have been decorated to a high standard, with walk-in units and trendy monochrome tiling.
