Chelsea sit top of the Premier League, remain in the Carabao Cup and are expected to qualify from their Champions League group but Mason Mount expects his side to only improve on their start to the seaosn.
The Blues have shown flashes of their quality so far this season with an impressive performance against Liverpool, but have more often found three points despite difficult performances.
Ben Chilwell's goal separated the sides against Brentford, where the Bees ramped up some late pressure, and a it was a frustrating performance against Southampton before Thomas Tuchel's men came away 3-1 victors.
After a period that has included Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal, Chelsea are set to face Premier League strugglers Norwich, Burnley and Newcastle United in the coming games. The perfect opportunity to find some points and better form.
Mount said following Chelsea's win over Malmo: "Yeah, I think it's obviously an opportunity but I think if you look at the games coming up they're going to be just as tough as what we've had already this season.
"They're teams that fight and give everything. Every game is a tough game.
"If you look at how we've played and where we are in the league at the moment it's a massive positive. I don't think we've hit the heights of where we could be.
"We've still got another gear to go and we're working hard on that. Hopefully over the next couple of games we can get the three points and still be high up in the league."
The Blues may have to find their next level without the services of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner however.
Both had to be substituted in the first half against Malmo and Tuchel expects them to likely be out against Norwich.
Mount was impressed with their replacements. Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz combined well for the Blues' third goal at Stamford Bridge and the England international believes the squad's depth paid off.
He said: "Obviously they've come off. I don't know too much about what they've done. Hopefully they'll be ready for the next game.
"Also, I think it shows we've got players who were on the bench that were ready when called up to step up and perform.
"The way we started the game, Rom came off when we'd just went 2-0 up. The way we started the game we were on the front foot and they did brilliant and to have Kai and Cal come on as well and do the same role and be ready to go. We're in a good position and hopefully they'll be ready for the next game."
