A shop was raided by masked thugs who ran from the scene carrying till drawers stuffed with cash.
Police were called to Spar on Wilmslow Road in Handforth, near the Stockport/ Cheshire border, on Sunday night to reports of a robbery.
Two men went into the convenience store with their faces covered.
They jumped over the counter and threatened staff.

One forced open the tills and grabbed the trays from inside which contained cash.
The other went into a nearby store room and stole items before the thieves fled the scene carrying the till drawers.
According to Cheshire Police , no weapons were used in the robbery.

Det Serg Angela Coppock said: “The staff at the store have understandably been left shaken up as a result of the incident and we are committed to doing all that we can to trace the men responsible and bring them to justice.
“As part of the investigation into the incident I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area around the time it occurred and believes they may have witnessed something that may be relevant to our enquiries.
“I also want to hear from motorists with dashcams who were driving on Wilmslow Road or Crossfield Road between 8.45pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, April 14.
“If you think that you have any information that could help our investigation, no matter how small, please call the team here at Macclesfield CID on 101.”
