A masked robber carrying a large knife put staff working in a shop through a "terrifying" ordeal before he fled with cash.
Police are investigating after it was reported a man entered Stevie Mac's Party Shop around 1.50pm yesterday (October 28) armed with a large knife.
The masked raider is said to have demanded cash from terrified staff working at the shop on County Road in Walton, who handed over money.

The armed man is then said to have fled the shop along Nixon Street, leaving staff "extremely shaken" but unhurt.
The man is described as having a beard but was wearing a mask that covered his face.
He was said to be wearing mustard coloured workman gloves, dark clothing and grey Adidas Gazelle trainers.
CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are said to be ongoing with detectives asking for anyone with any information to come forward.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are appealing for information following an armed robbery on County Road in Walton.
"At around 1.50pm yesterday (Thursday 28 October) it was reported that a man entered Stevie Mac’s Party Shop armed with a large knife and demanded cash from staff in the store.

"The member of staff gave the offender a quantity of cash who then fled the scene along Nixon Street.
"No injuries were reported but the victims were left extremely shaken by the incident.
"The offender is described as a bearded man wearing a mask that covered his face. He wore mustard coloured workman gloves, dark coloured clothing and grey Adidas Gazelle trainers.
"CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are ongoing to find the man responsible and officers are asking for anyone with any information to come forward."
Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: “This was a terrifying incident that has left the victims who were just doing their jobs fearing for their lives.
“No one should have to go through such an ordeal and we are working hard to find the man responsible and bring him to justice.
"We would urge anyone who was near the shop on Thursday afternoon and saw this incident or the man described to please contact us as information you hold could be vital to our enquiries.
"I also want to appeal to anyone who was on County Road at the time who may have captured any mobile phone or dashcam footage to get in touch.
"Whether you contact us directly or anonymously, through Crimestoppers, all information provided will be acted upon.”
