Masked burglars burst into Little Stoke home and threaten occupants

Residents of a house in the Little Stoke area of Bristol have told police how two masked men burst into their home and demanded cash and jewellery.

The incident happened on Saturday in Tetbury Close, and police are now appealing for any witnesses - or from anyone who saw any suspicious activity.

The incident happened at 10.30pm on September 21, and began when two men tried unsuccessfully to force their way in through the front door.

They got in by the back door and threatened the occupants of the house and demanded cash and jewellery, but left empty-handed, police said.

“The suspects were wearing all dark clothing and their faces were concealed,” said a police spokesperson.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously, particularly covering or uncovering their faces.

“Anyone able to help is asked to contact us, quoting reference 5219218972,” he added.
