Great British Bake Off jewel Mary Berry is throwing a Christmas Party – and we’re all invited.

The baker and overall national treasure, is back on BBC One with a festive feast for fans and sweet treats for her guests.

With her cheeky sense of humour and excellent palette, four celebrities are hoping to turn from hapless elves in the kitchen to Christmas crackers under Berry’s watchful guidance.

Here’s everything you need to know about Mary Berry’s Christmas Party:

What is Mary Berry’s Christmas Party?

After the success of her special last year, Berry will be opening her home up to four celebrities hoping to fine-tune their cooking skills in time for the festive season.

Joining her at home will be BBC News anchor Huw Edwards, comedian Joe Lycett, athlete Dina Asher-Smith and Poldark actress Eleanor Tomlinson.

Berry will show the famous quartet some of her favourite Christmas recipes – with samples of course – before giving them the key to creating the perfect festive menu for the holidays.

What’s on the menu?

For starters, Berry is teaching her eager students how to whip up pan-fried halloumi with fresh tomato chutney and crispy salmon and dill filo parcels. But guests have to make sure they leave room for a chicken-and-mushroom suet pie or peppered fillet of beef, served with brandy sauce and perfect potato and squash roasties.

On the dessert menu is a hazelnut meringue roulade with white chocolate and clementines and a limoncello trifle.

When is it on?

Mary Berry’s Christmas Party is on BBC One, tonight at 8.30pm on BBC One.
