Martine McCutcheon's secret life - including real name and famous husband

Martine McCutcheon is known for being an incredible actress after she shot to fame in EastEnders.

The 45-year-old soap star has enjoyed a successful career in the world of acting and managed to keep life away from the screens private - including her famous husband and real name.

Martine is married to songwriter Jack McManus - and has been since September 2012 - after three years of dating.

Jack went to the BRIT school - which was also attended by the likes of Adele and Jessie J. The pair share six-year-old son Rafferty together.

The TV star was born Martine Kimberley Sherrie Ponting - but she goes by Martine McCutcheon.

She has been making headlines recently due to her incredible weight loss.

Martine has lost a significant amount of weight in recent years, with her having ditched "crazy diets" in favour of doing what works best for her.

The Love Actually star has been flaunting her new figure after going on a family holiday.

She has impressed fans with her toned figure over on her Instagram - sharing frequent snaps where she looked noticeably slimmer.

One of her posts prompted compliments from fans, with one appearing to comment on the weight loss journey of Martine, telling her: "You just get better and better."

Another said: "You look smashing." Others instead referred to the former soap star as having looked "lovely," "amazing," "fabulous" and "very pretty" in the photo.

Martine has been an advocate for the Cambridge Diet Plan, which is said to have helped her lose around 21 inches from her body in recent years.

Last year, Martine achieved a childhood ambition of hers when Elite Modeling Agency World snapped the gorgeous star up to be on their books.

Announcing she had been signed by a modelling agency at the age of 44, the multi-talented star said: "My 14 year old self would’ve died knowing this!

"I’m 45 next month and it just goes to show how it’s never too late for dreams to come true and also that the world of fashion and modelling is evolving in the greatest of ways and embracing so many different women."
