Martin Compston has been spotted tucking into some Italian cuisine with a Scottish twist in Glasgow, as he and filming partner Phil MacHugh took a quick break from filming their BBC Scotland documentary, Scottish Fling.
The pair have been travelling across Scotland while filming for the BBC series, with the main aim to find out 'what makes Scotland tick, from people to the native language we speak'.
Filming buddy Phil posted a cheery photo of himself and Martin at Cranside Kitchen in Glasgow on his social media, as they tucked into a large pizza - topped with skinny fries!

The caption read: "Couldn’t come to #Glasgow and not tuck into the latest craze - The ‘Hangover 2’ pizza at @cransidekitchen.
"A wee break from filming #ScottishFling with my G @martin_compston tonight before we’re back on the road again tomorrow…Where next?"
The pair have their arms over each other, smiling happily for the camera as they unwind from a busy schedule of filming.
The pizza is also pictured in all its glory, with the chips laden high on top of the charred crust.
Glasgow Live also reported earlier this month that Martin was focusing on learning the native language of his home nation, as pal Phil MacHugh tutored him in Scottish Gaelic.
The pair have been speaking to each other in the language and even posted a little clip on Phil's Instagram, where they had a short conversation.
