Martha Stewart's dramatic hair transformation trades her signature blonde for rosé pink

Image of Martha Stewart smiling with blonde curled shoulder-length bob and wearing a khaki beige shirt.

Many of us will understand the itch to switch up our look now and then, and one of the easiest ways to do that is a hair makeover – whether that's with a fresh cut, colour or style.

With bobs and colour glossing being prominent players in the list of 2026 hair trends, it makes total sense for Martha Stewart's latest hair transformation to combine the two for the ultimate summer-ready hairdo.

The lifestyle guru has just debuted a major change to her tresses, trading in her bright blonde colour for an elegant, shimmering hue not unlike a pale rosé wine – and it's so gorgeous it may just have convinced us to book our next colour appointment. Plus, we've got everything you need to try the look for yourself at home.

A hint of pink

If you want to trial the rose gold hue for yourself, Moroccanoil's Color Depositing Mask deserves a spot in your basket. Ideal for those wanting to try out new shades, enhance tones, or prolong your colour between salon visits, this hair mask delivers a temporary wash of colour that gradually fades with each shampoo. It also doubles up as a deeply conditioning mask that hydrates, strengthens, protects colour and enhances shine.

Lock in colour

Designed specifically for those with colour-treated hair in mind, the L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Vitamino Color Conditioner works to nourish the strands and encourage long-lasting colour vibrancy. Offering up to eight weeks of protection against fading, this colour-preserving formula also works to hydrate and detangle strands for softer, shinier locks.

Add shimmering shine

The key to healthy-looking hair is investing in a hair oil, like these Glaze Drops by Kerastase. This lightweight oil has been formulated to boost smoothness and shine, without weighing tresses down, for bouncy, glossy hair. What's more, it also imparts a gorgeous citrus-floral scent throughout the locks.

In a reel posted to Instagram on Sunday, 9th August, Martha Stewart made waves when celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton debuted her new hair transformation – and it's a major change to her signature golden blonde bob.

The presenter revealed a gorgeous soft rosy pink hue that Appleton dubbed 'rose gold'. This transformation is a masterclass of a subtle take on a vibrant colour that adds dimension and definition to the locks.

The summer-ready colour was accompanied by a flattering chin-grazing cut and voluminous, bouncy curls that gave Stewart's tresses a fuller-looking appearance.

While the hairstylist used a Schwarzkopf gloss to achieve the look, which can be easily recreated at your nearest hair salon, you can also trial the rosy hue for yourself by using a colour-depositing hair mask or at-home hair gloss.

Unsurprisingly, the transformation saw thousands of comments roll in. One user stated that the colour made Martha's skin "glow", while another hailed how "incredible" the results were – and we couldn't agree more.
