Married at First Sight is looking for more brave singles for new series

Usually a successful marriage is built on years of working hard on a relationship with someone you know everything about.

But according to a group of relationship experts, matching singles based on science and arranging a marriage between two people who have never met can work just as well.

And it's a great premise for a cringe-worthy and nail biting yet can't-stop-watching-it TV show.

Four series of Married at First Sight have already aired with more than 10 couples tying the knot without even meeting each other.

And now Channel 4 is looking for more adventurous people to take part in another series, reports Leicestershire Live.

The casting advert says: "We’re looking for brave singles for a new series of Married at First Sight.

"In this unique relationship series about married life, a panel of matchmaking experts will be there to help you find the one."

So if you're fed up of swiping left and right and only meeting people who 'don't want anything too serious', taking this huge leap into the unknown could pay off with the reward of finding your soul mate.

All the couples who have married on the programme so far have now split up, but you could be the one to change that statistic.

Think it's worth a shot?

To apply all you need to do is send an email with your name, age and contact number to marriedatfirstsight@cplproductions.co.uk.

If you are selected, you'll be put through vigorous scientific testing and asked a lot of questions before the experts decide if they have a match for you or not.

The date of the series five release has not yet been announced, but Married at First Sight normally airs on Channel 4 in the spring.
