Marnie Simpson has given birth to her first child.
The Geordie Shore star and her boyfriend Casey Johnson broke news of the birth of their baby son to the world in a statement via OK Magazine.
The statement read: "Marnie gave birth to a beautiful baby boy yesterday afternoon. Mother and son are both doing well."
It is not yet known what the baby boy's name is.
Last weekend, Marnie, who quit Geordie Shore last year and has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, told her millions of Instagram followers that she had booked in to be induced after going well overdue with her pregnancy.
Paying tribute to former X Factor star Casey in a lengthy Instagram post about her tough pregnancy, Marnie wrote "So blessed to have this human in my life. I've suffered so badly the last week as I'm now ten days over due and I have to admit it's tough," she captioned a picture of her nine months pregnant bump.
"Words can't explain the discomfort, but generally wouldn't be able to get through it without you. Love you so much. I'm so lucky to have you by my side."
Marnie's journey to motherhood was documented in recent MTV series Geordie OGs, where viewers saw her reveal she was pregnant in a lavish magazine shoot before finding out the sex of her baby at a big gender reveal party attended by family and friends, including her Geordie Shore co-stars.
