Mark Wright says he's looking 'podge' after scoffing bread and beer on holiday in Spain

Mark Wright confessed to piling on the pounds as he started his training in quarantine.

The former TOWIE hunk and his wife Michelle Keegan, 33, were among the first celebs home to face the unexpected eight-day quarantine following a break in Spain.

Spanish cuisine and lying around in the sun left the fitness guru feeling a "little bit podge" and out of practice with his training.

So it'll come as no surprise the presenter informed his fans he was going to use the 14-day period to get back into shape while holed up at his glamorous £1.3million Essex mansion.

In a piece to camera, Mark still oozed confidence and sex appeal when he went shirtless after breaking into a sweat during his workout.

He said on Instagram stories: "Five days Majorca, three days Ibiza. Of course ending with a bang in Ibiza. First session back, I'm telling you now. Not only am I a little bit podge but I am out of my [depth].

"Tomorrow will be a better day. I didn't want to do it. If you don't want to do anything else wright now, get up, get it done, and 'Train Wight'."

The married couple have retreated to their fabulous £1.3million mansion to spend out their 14 days in quarantine away from rest of the world.

New Government advice asks anyone travelling to Spain to quarantine for 14 days on their return to the UK.

Many people's last-minute summer holidays booked to Spain have been plunged into jeopardy.

Some Brits will be unable to go on their holiday because they cannot work from home on their return but Mark and Michelle are among the lucky lot who can.

Celebs including Maya Jama and Alexandra Cane, of Love Island fame, have been holidaying in Spanish resorts when the 14-day rule come into action.
