Mark Schlereth hilariously trolled Jets fans with fake apology video

Former ESPN analyst Mark Schlereth finds himself in a precarious situation: he’s currently engaged in an online war against Jets fans.

Well, war is a strong word for the dispute that he’s in. He already won his social media spat with Jets fans. Schlereth recently went on The Pat McAfee Show and poked fun at the Jets’ recent draft history.

“Here’s the thing about the draft that fascinates me,” Schlereth said on McAfee’s show. “Is that every guy that plays quarterback is going to come fix our franchise. Like, if it didn’t work with Sam Darnold, why do you think you can put him in that same situation, or another quarterback in that same situation, and have it work this time?”

Jets fans were upset at the comments and started expressing their disdain for Schlereth on social media over the weekend. That caused Schlereth to fire back one more time on Twitter, this time with the hardware that he earned while he was a member of the Denver Broncos and Washington football franchise.

Schlereth was on three Super Bowl winning teams during his 12-year NFL career, including a Broncos team that beat the Jets in the 1998 AFC Championship game. Let’s just say that year’s Super Bowl ring was the last he showed in his Twitter video dedicated to Jets fans.

Schlereth won that round. Not much to say against that comeback.
