Greene, at the turning point action conference, attempted to outline President Johnson’s programs, known as The Great Society, and compared them to Biden’s Build Back Better initiative.

She stated that Biden’s plan is “the largest public investment in social infrastructure and environmental programs that is actually finishing what FDR started that LBJ expanded on.”

She had been a vocal critic of the Biden administration and the policies it has implemented during her tenure in Congress.

Greene’s tenure in Congress during the 4 years that she has represented her district in Georgia where she has never seen eye-to-eye with the White House.

She is one of the major Trump allies in Congress that includes George Santos, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, and Lauren Boebert.

The White House responded to a video of her taking her comments as a compliment, stating that Biden “is working to make life easier for hardworking families.”

“Caught us. President Biden is working to make life easier for hardworking families,” said The White House in a tweet.

Greene has been a vocal critic of Biden’s policies, previously clashing with the President over his economic agenda.

This came after, last month, the White House and Greene clashed after a local newspaper from the GOP lawmaker’s hometown highlighted the federal public safety grants that her district was slated to receive under the American Rescue Plan.

However, Greene, along with every other House Republican, voted against the plan in March 2021.

Meanwhile, Greene’s criticism of Biden’s policies comes at a time when the US is grappling with a $32 trillion debt, record-high homelessness, and 40-year record inflation. She argues that the government is a “big fat, bloated machine” that is killing the American dream.

Greene has a staunch record in Congress voting against the Biden administration policies where she lean in with the GOP that closely ally with the former president.

The Georgia Congresswoman has become the major voice for the Trump wing of the Republican Party.
