Marcus Rashford hits back at Manchester United dressing room claim involving Cristiano Ronaldo

Marcus Rashford has responded to a report suggesting there is unrest involving Cristiano Ronaldo in the Manchester United dressing room.

United have endured a tumultuous campaign this term and the scrutiny has been intense following the club's poor results.

Ralf Rangnick's side beat Brighton 2-0 on Tuesday night to lift the mood, but despite the win, one journalist in the German media suggested on Wednesday afternoon that Ronaldo wants to 'lead the dressing room with his own clique'.

It was claimed that Rashford and other English players, like Harry Maguire, were 'irritated' by Ronaldo's alleged plan.

Rashford has now hit out against the report on social media, questioning its legitimacy.

"Are we just making it up as we go along now then?," Rashford wrote.

"Please stop looking for divides."

United play Leeds next on Sunday, 20 February.
