Marcus Rashford has shot down claims Manchester United's English players are fed up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
German outlet Bild have alleged Rashford, captain Harry Maguire and others have become irritated with the Portuguese superstar and his influence in the dressing room.
The striker replied to journalist Christian Falk on Twitter and rubbished talk of a civil war at the Premier League giants.
He wrote: "Are we just making it up as we go along now then? Please stop looking for divides."
But veteran reporter Falk was undeterred as he responded to insist the story was true.
He replied: "Not True and you know it @MarcusRashford"
United have been dogged by rumours and dressing room leaks this season, with a number of reports suggesting unrest behind the scenes emerging over the past several months.
Last week, it was claimed United players had nicknamed assistant coach Chris Armas as "Ted Lasso", after the fictional US coach thrust into managing AFC Richmond in the hit comedy show.
Previously, disquiet over interim boss Ralf Rangnick's methods have appeared in media outlets since he replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with club legend Gary Neville branding the Armas rumours "disgusting".
"The fact they were describing the number two of Ralf Rangnick as Ted Lasso, I didn’t find it funny at all," Neville told Sky Sports. "I found it disrespectful, I found it disgusting.
"In fact, it actually summed up what I think of them, they are disrespectful.
"I think if I was Ralf Rangnick and his number two, I would gain strength from that because I wouldn’t want to be on the same page as some of those players who are leaking that story."
