Marcos Alonso celebrates as two wonderkids prepare - Things spotted in Chelsea training

Chelsea take on Krasnodar tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge for their final match of the Champions League group stage.

The Blues have already wrapped up top spot of Group E and the Russians are in the Europa League for the second half of the season.

So the match is very much a dead rubber and will give those fringe players a chance to impress once again.

Frank Lampard put his players through their paces for the last time ahead of the game, and here are some of the things we spotted in training.

Marcos Alonso celebrates

The Spaniard has not featured for the Blues since the 3-3 draw against West Brom and it looks like his Chelsea future is coming to an end.

Alonso is likely to be one of the players who could be moved on in January if there is a suitable buyer, but he might feature against the Russians.

If Emerson is pushed forward with injuries to Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi, then Alonso could come in and finally get some minutes.

Air Zouma

One of the massive surprises of the season has been Kurt Zouma and his impressive displays in the opposition team's box.

The centre-back's goal against Leeds United was his fourth in the Premier League during the campaign and he has looked consistently dangerous.

Zouma was pictured in training going up for another header and showing the amazing leap that he has and what has made him a massive threat.

Two wonderkids train

With nothing on the game, there could be a chance for a few wonderkids to feature in the match and get some experience in Champions League football.

With the coronavirus bubbles being imposed, it has been more difficult for youngsters from the academy to be part of the first team.

However, Tino Anjorin and Henry Lawrence were part of the training group ahead of the game and could get their chance to feature in the match tomorrow night.

Tomori trains

It has been a tough 2020 for Fikayo Tomori, with the centre-back having only played six matches for Chelsea throughout the year.

Tomori is likely to make a loan move in January, but he might get the opportunity to finally get a few more minutes.

The England international was training with the side and will be hoping to put the last 12 months behind him.
