Marco Tilio seals Celtic transfer exit in 'done deal' as fee details revealed

Marco Tilio's transfer to Rapid Vienna is reportedly a done deal.

The Australian winger joined Celtic in the summer of 2023 but has since made just two competitive appearances in green and white.

Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Tilio's move to Rapid is done, and that he will join the Austrian club on loan, with an obligation to buy for €1.5 million.

The obligation will become valid once he makes 20 competitive starts for his new team. Celtic will also receive a €400,000 loan fee for the 23-year-old.

Tilio spent last season on loan at his former side, Melbourne City, scoring five goals and assisting as many in 20 appearances across all competitions.

He featured in Celtic's 4-0 thrashing of Newcastle United on Saturday, but now appears to be headed for the exit door.
