2. Ryan: ‘I never said never’

3. Sanders plan digs $18tn hole – study

Two nonpartisan think tanks collaborated on a study that concluded that Bernie Sanders’ plan for free college and healthcare, etc, would create $18tn in debt over 10 years even with higher taxes.

4. Clinton hunts for November votes

Hillary Clinton campaigned in the Virginia suburbs, where a win in November could award her the state and the presidency. Not that she has yet won the nomination. West Virginia Dems vote tomorrow.

5. Christie to head up transition

The Trump campaign tapped New Jersey governor Chris Christie to lead a White House transition team. Should Trump win the presidency, Christie will literally be the first one in the door.

6. Trump debt plan raises eyebrows

After saying the national debt could be addressed by stiffing creditors, Trump unveiled a new debt-service plan Monday: print money.
