Manuel Charr signs agreement to face Tyson Fury, Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois

Manuel Charr has revealed that he has signed an agreement to face either Tyson Fury, Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois in his next fight.

Fury looked set to face Anthony Joshua in a settling of their long-term rivalry for his WBC crown after accepting the offer of a fight to take place o December 3 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. However despite negotiations progressing well, Fury issued a deadline of yesterday for Joshua to put pen to paper on the deal, which the champion later revealed had been missed and that he now planned to move on.

The 'Gypsy King' announced that he intends to take on German heavyweight Charr who has fought just twice in 2017 and is not currently ranked by the WBC. And Charr has now claimed he has an agreement to take on a number of promoter Frank Warren's fighters in case Fury's clash with Joshua is revived later down the line.

"I hope so," he revealed to Boxing News when discussing a potential fight with Fury. "I am waiting to see if Anthony Joshua signs and responds for that fight. I think if he doesn't, Tyson Fury has to fight me and I am ready. I have signed an agreement to face the three heavyweight fighters of Frank Warren. Tyson Fury, Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce. I am ready to fight any of them but the first one I would pick is Tyson Fury. I want Tyson Fury.

"If AJ signs to face Fury he signs. If not give me the fight Fury don't be scared. You promised me two times that you would fight me. You can see on YouTube when he met me in Cologne, Germany that I challenged him and he said that he wanted to fight me. In other interviews too he says he wants to fight me. If he doesn't now fight me he is ducking me. I will fight for free I am a real fighter. I'm not looking for f***ing money, I am looking for legacy."

Fury revealed yesterday that he no longer wants the fight against Joshua and was now planning to open up the floor to Charr. A meeting was planned yesterday between Joshua and Fury's respective teams which appeared to show further signs of progress ahead of the agreement being inked and agreed.

His promoter Warren still believes that a deal is close to agreement but has revealed Fury has lost his patience. “We’re trying to get it done today. We’re working very hard to get it over the line,” said Frank Warren to talkSPORT. " Tyson Fury tells me what he wants. They’ve had the contract for ten days and lost patience with it.

"We’re trying to make it work. There was a good meeting today. We’ll see what happens. We’re not that far from December the 3rd. We got to get it up on sale. There’s a lot of organisation involved."
