From H&M x Stella McCartney and Uniqlo x Cecilie Bahnsen, to Gap x Victoria Beckham, covetable designer collaborations have taken over the high street in 2026. But the Spanish fashion label Mango likes to take a slightly different approach.
Alongside high-profile collections with the likes of Hailey Bieber and Victoria Beckham, Mango collaborates with smaller, more underground names to bring their designs to a mainstream audience.
The latest capsule hails from the New York cool-girl label Eckhaus Latta. The brand, which is known for its inclusive designs and fabric innovation, has designed a 43-strong capsule spanning dresses, statement trousers, striking swimwear, and shoes.
Created with city summer dressing in mind, the collection is a snapshot of sun-drenched days in NYC. For London dwellers looking to beat the heat but stay stylish, it’s full of inspiration: think distressed capri pants, sheer shirts, and wedge leather sandals. Trend-led pieces include trouser and skirt hybrid pants, layered dresses, and cinched blazers, taking you from your desk to dinner this season.
Some pieces are bound to sell out and dominate Instagram feeds: see the red halter neck dress, paired with the gorp-core flip flops, or the beautiful lilac and blue overlay dress with the metal mesh bag. Having shopped every Mango collaboration over last few years, I tried on the full collection to find out which pieces to shop and which to skip.
Mango x Eckhaus Latta overlay dress with ties
You’re effectively getting two dresses in one with this overlayed number. Beneath the sheer chiffon fabric, the baby blue slip dress boasts thin shoulder straps, a short hem and square neckline. The top-layer provides stylish contrast, with adjustable ties at the back to customise the fit.

Mango x Eckhaus Latta silk dress with overlay bows
The most flattering piece in the collection, this rich, sunset-orange mini dress boasts a V-neck halter neck and adjustable bow at the front. Crafted from a silk and cotton blend, it’s beautifully floaty and airy. A skirt overlay with adjustable ties creates an asymmetrical silhouette. I’ll be bringing this out for wedding parties and summer holiday dinners.

Mango x Eckhaus Latta asymmetric striped jersey dress
One of the most wearable pieces in the capsule, this maxi dress is created from a soft, stretchy fine knit material. There’s a side slit for movement, while the asymmetrical neckline and thin straps add intrigue. Whether thrown on in a heatwave for alfresco dinner or styled with ballet flats in the office, it’s a comfortable but versatile summer dress.

Mango x Eckhaus Latta tie-waist overlay trousers
One of summer’s most divisive trends, skirts over trousers are shaking off their frumpy reputation. This pair from Mango x Eckhaus Latta have almost won me over. The earthy colours are a match made in heaven, while the overlay design can be adjusted with a belt. Again, the piece offers two-in-one style, whether worn with or without the overlay.

Mango x Eckhaus Latta fitted waist jacket
A jacket to shrug on during gloomier summer days, this cinched style is perfectly androgynous. Made from a viscose fabric (a shame considering the price), the jacket is lightweight with a flattering, fitted cut. It’s slightly long with a structured waist, deep V-neck collar and extra long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. The vintage-inspired colour goes with everything, and you’ll get your wear right through into autumn, too.

Our verdict on Mango x Eckhaus Latta
Granted, Mango x Eckhaus Latta isn’t my favourite high street collaboration of late – but what the capsule does succeed in is uniqueness. The floaty chiffon, vintage-style knit and bold sheer pieces offer an elevated take on summer dresses. Designed to be worn during a heatwave in the city, the orange halterneck dress is perfect for wine-fuelled dinner parties while the blue and purple mini is ideal for day festivals. Other pieces, including the sheer styles or double-layered pieces – which are a nightmare to get in and out of – are less wearable and practical. If you’re going to buy anything, make it one of the five pieces above.
