Manchester United XI vs Copenhagen: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest

Marcus Rashford returns for Manchester United tonight in their crunch Champions League tie away at FC Copenhagen.

The striker missed the narrow 1-0 win over Fulham after failing a late fitness test, and joins Victor Lindelof in the squad after the centre-back recovered from illness.

The pair both trained on Tuesday and joined their team-mates on the flight to Denmark.

It was not all good news for Erik ten Hag, though, who will be without Casemiro for at least another six weeks.

The manager told reporters on Tuesday: "I don’t expect Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro to be available again before Christmas."

Aaron Wan-Bissaka makes his first Champions League appearance of the season.

Diogo Dalot again wins battle with Sergio Reguilon for a start at left-back. Antony was again anonymous and is duly dropped.

Manchester United predicted XI: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Evans, Dalot; McTominay, Eriksen, Fernandes; Garnacho, Hojlund, Rashford

Subs: Bayindir, Heaton, Lindelof, Reguilon, Varane, Amrabat, Forson, Hannibal, Mount, Pellistri, Antony, Martial

Time and date: 8pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023
