Manchester United 'set to make Adrien Rabiot decision after Juventus offer'

Manchester United will decide whether to make a formal offer for PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot after Juventus made their own contract proposal, reports say.

Tuttosport (via The Mirror) say Juventus have made their own offer for Rabiot, who will leave PSG on a free transfer this summer.

That will force United into a decision in the coming weeks, with the report saying United had been considering a move for the 23-year-old Frenchman before Juventus' offer and will now decide whether to act.

Juventus' offer is said to be worth around £5.3m-per-year, but is still below Rabiot's expectations.

Barcelona had reportedly been close to a deal, but Rabiot's £175,000-per-week demands (£9.1m-per-year) saw that fall through, while Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool are also reported to be monitoring the situation.

United are looking for a replacement for Ander Herrera, who is set to join PSG, and Rabiot would be a cheap option as he will not command a transfer fee.

Meanwhile, United are targeting a summer transfer worth £40million for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, according to reports.

The Daily Mail say Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Dembele to replace Romelu Lukaku as he looks to reshape United’s attacking options this summer.

Lukaku has been linked with a move to Italy and Dembele, after scoring 22 goals for Lyon in another good season, reportedly fits the bill for United.

Finally, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain are interested in signing AC Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma, according to reports.

Italian media outlet La Repubblica  claims that United are sizing up a potential offer of €50-55 million to sign the young Italian if David De Gea leaves in the summer.
