Manchester United's David De Gea and fiancée Edurne head into Hale for a Mother's Day meal

Manchester United's David De Gea and Edurne headed out for a family lunch in Hale along with goalkeeping coach Emilio Alvarez.

The Spanish goalkeeper was seen leaving the La Famiglia Italian restaurant in Hale Village, Cheshire.

Goalkeeping coach Emilio Alvarez joined De Gea at the restaurant with their parents and families.

The pair looked in good spirits following United's 2-1 win against Watford on Saturday.

Some family members, including De Gea's fiancée Edurne, were seen holding flowers as they left the restaurant.

It is thought that David had so many family members over from Spain he hired a Mercedes Van which Edurne drove home.
