Manchester United players arrive for training as they prepare for Man City derby clash

Manchester United's players have reported for training the day after their 4-0 defeat to Everton as they prepare for Wednesday night's Manchester derby.

United host Manchester City at Old Trafford in a game that could have huge ramifications for both the Premier League title race and the battle to finish in the top four.

Losing to Everton left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side two points off Arsenal in fourth, with the Gunners losing at home to Crystal Palace and fifth-placed Chelsea in action against Burnley tonight (Monday).

United's players have been widely criticised for their recent displays but most appeared calm and collected as they arrived at the AON Training Complex in Carrington this morning.

After the Everton game, Solskjaer set a challenge for his players, saying: "We know it's a big task and work to be done.

"We have to do it together, we have to get on with it because this is not good enough.

Gary Neville names and shames six Manchester United players who are under-performing

"You have got to start somewhere and we will give it everything we have got with the last four games — massive games with City and Chelsea coming to Old Trafford - that's where we get the best support in the world."

United will have Luke Shaw available again after serving a suspension, while Phil Jones is a doubt after suffering injury at Everton.
