Manchester United legend Gary Neville to appear on BBC TV show Dragons’ Den

Gary Neville will appear as a guest dragon on the BBC TV series Dragons’ Den.

The corporation announced on Tuesday the Manchester United legend’s move from the punditry studio to the reality TV business show in a guest capacity for a series to be broadcast next year.

Filming is currently taking place in Manchester with Neville, 48, and fashion mogul Emma Grede due to appear alongside regulars Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett.

Neville said: “I am excited to join the Dragons, and to meet the entrepreneurs brave enough to face us in the Den.

“I hope my personal journey shows that you can take the experiences you’ve had in one part of your career and use them to do something entirely different and make it a success.

“Business is all about managing people and managing yourself and I’m looking forward to sharing my experience to help the entrepreneurs we’ll meet in the Den reach their potential.”

Neville co-owns Hotel Football in Manchester alongside United heroes Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and brother Phil Neville.

His company, Relentless, is also fronting the £120million St Michael's redevelopment of mixed-use space including offices in Jackson’s Row, Manchester.
