Manchester United favourite Patrice Evra jokes he's moving 'Cristiano Ronaldo's sheep' on boat

Patrice Evra has joked he's moved 'Cristiano Ronaldo's sheep' from his home after he returned to Manchester United.

Ronaldo, 36, returned to United on deadline day and was said to move into a seven-bedroom Chesire mansion with his family.

However, reports emerged on Wednesday night that claimed Ronaldo had moved his family to a new home owned by former United centre-forward Andy Cole after 'noisy sheep' were interrupting his sleep upon his relocation to Manchester.

Evra has continued to endear himself to United supporters after his retirement thanks to his whacky persona on social media and he again took to Instagram to joke with his old teammate Ronaldo about his housing predicament.

"Don’t worry bro Cristiano, I’m moving my sheep far away from your house," Evra joked in a bizarre clip on a boat with sheep.

Regardless of sheep allegedly interrupting Ronaldo's sleep pattern, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has made a great start to life back at Old Trafford, scoring twice on his debut against Newcastle before opening the scoring in the Champions League on Tuesday.

United play West Ham on Sunday in the Premier League next and Ronaldo will be hoping to continue in his rich vein of form.
