Manchester United fans are all saying same thing about David Beckham vs Bayern Munich legends

Manchester United fans have not been treated to a great deal of quality football in recent times so it's no wonder David Beckham 's appearance at Old Trafford has got supporters talking.

Beckham took the field for the Red Devils' legends this afternoon against Bayern Munich for charity and the former England captain shone brightly.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Dwight Yorke bagged the first two goals of the match as United led 2-0 at the break in a special game 20 years on from United 's treble-winning success over Bayern.

Current Wales boss Ryan Giggs could not make the fixture but United fans were treated to strong displays from the likes of Beckham, Paul Scholes, Jaap Stam and Gary Neville.

But it's Beckham who has created the most discussion amongst fans, particularly for his ability to still deliver a fantastic cross at the age of 44.

It's safe to say all United fans were wishing they had that sort of delivery this season during a campaign which finished with sixth spot in the Premier League.

It's left United fans feeling nostalgic and all saying the same thing on social media this afternoon.
