Man 'working out' conspires with takeaway to sneak a kebab past his wife

A sneaky husband hatched a cunning plan  to trick his wife into thinking he was busy working out in his home gym in the garage - while conspiring with a takeaway to have a kebab delivered behind her back.

The customer, whose name has been redacted to ensure his safety, told his wife he was out using the treadmill in the garage behind their house.

Then while he was 'working off a few pounds' on the treadmill he took to Just Eat and ordered a takeaway - adding a detailed note to make sure the delivery driver didn't tip off his wife, reports The Daily Record .

The anonymous customer wrote on his order to The House of Shah on Quarry Street in Hamilton: “My wife thinks I’m “working out” in the garage please don’t chap door. Call me on arrival and come to the garage, I will be on the “treadmill”. Also, no salad at all on my kebab. Thanks.”

Jahan Shah, who runs the shop, said: “The comment at first didn’t surprise us as we get quite a few comments however, this one stuck out the most funniest because you can tell the customer was desperate not to get found out by his wife.

“All is ok because we have a golden rule here. What happens in House of Shah stays in House of Shah therefore, the identity of the customer will never be revealed.”
