Man Utd transfer target Ousmane Dembele once trashed Jurgen Klopp's house

Ousmane Dembele once trashed Jurgen Klopp's house when he was renting it from the Liverpool manager in 2017.

Dembele, who was at Dortmund at the time, moved in to the house in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany shortly after Klopp was named Liverpool boss.

The Frenchman was in the process of trying to push through a move to Barcelona at the time, which he eventually succeeded in doing.

And according to Bild, images of Klopp's house showed furniture and clothing were not cared for and bin bags had been scattered across the front garden.

Klopp was said to have been very angry at the time.

Despite the incident, the German has remained a big fan of the France international and back in 2018 suggested he'd be keen on signing him for Liverpool.

"Is he on the market? Now I'm interested," declared Klopp.

Liverpool never made a move for Dembele, who is now on Manchester United's radar as an alternative to top target Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils are still being quoted a fee of £108million to sign the England international, and deem this too steep in the current climate.

Dembele, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Camp Nou, would reportedly be available for around £50m.
