Jose Mourinho has revealed his fears for Victor Lindelof after the Manchester United defender suffered injury against Crystal Palace.
Lindelof looks set to miss Tuesday’s Champions League tie against Young Boys, with Mourinho uncertain when he will be able to return.
The centre back was in visible discomfort in the latter stages of Saturday’s 0-0 draw, but the nature of his injury has not been confirmed.
Mourinho said told MUTV: “I always say this is the period of the injuries. If they are not injured with the national teams, they come to the clubs and are injured.
Diogo Dalot remains out of contention for the Red Devils, although Luke Shaw is back in contention having served his domestic ban against Crystal Palace for five yellow cards.
Despite Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial all returning from injury versus Palace, Mourinho's side could not find a way past the Eagles.
As for Eric Bailly, Mourinho confirmed the centre-back will likely play Young Boys despite being dropped altogether for the Palace game.
