Man United star Bruno Fernandes fires six-word response to Nottingham Forest game

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has warned his teammates their work is not done yet in the Carabao Cup semi-final tie against Nottingham Forest.

United ran out 3-0 winners at the City Ground on Wednesday night in the first leg of the semis. Goals from Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst and Fernandes gave the Red Devils a three-goal advantage heading into the second leg at Old Trafford next week.

Fernandes took to Instagram after the match, posting three pictures of the action and the caption: "First one done, one to go," with a flexing bicep emoji.

His fellow Man United teammates made posts of their own, with Rashford saying: " Job done. See you next week!" and Lisandro Martinez adding: " 1/2 of the job done …bring on the second leg!"

Tyrell Malacia posted: "Only halfway there. Next week the return", while Weghorst wrote: "Great team effort and performance. Happy to open my account for @manchesterunited. Hungry for more!"

A post from David De Gea echoed the thoughts of several of his teammates: "A great result but one more game to decide next week".
