- Manchester United have completed the signing of 20-year-old Welsh goalkeeper Kit Margetson.
- The Red Devils have agreed a compensation package with Swansea City after Margetson’s contract with the Championship came to an end last month.
- Margetson did not make a senior appearance for Swansea, but spent last season on loan at Connah’s Quay Nomads and helped the club qualify for European competition.
- Margetson’s father, Martyn, played for Manchester City in the 1990s, and was also the England goalkeeping coach under Gareth Southgate.
- United have already signed Karl Darlow this summer, while sending Andre Onana back out on loan to Trabzonspor.
