Man United hold key advantage in Jude Bellingham race
Manchester United hold a significant advantage over Premier League rivals in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to the Sun via the Daily Express.
The report says that Man United's previous efforts to impress Bellingham have helped them steal on a march on Premier League rivals also interested in the superstar.
Bellingham and his family were 'really impressed' with the effort the Red Devils made and the respect shown during their attempt to sign him before he opted for Borussia Dortmund instead.
Both Chelsea and United have learned the price required next summer if one of the aforementioned duo were to successfully sign the Birmingham-born starlet.
Tuchel details Mendy injury
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel made a brave decision to leave Edouard Mendy out of the Chelsea starting line-up against Tottenham due to injury.
Following the game, the German offered more detail about the Senegalese stopper's problem.
He said: "We tried throughout the week and yesterday in training it was so-so. It comes from the last-minute kick against Zenit in the Champions League. It is very painful and did not feel 100% comfortable going for a full stretch or to land on it. He didn't feel comfortable at fight at set-pieces or corners."

Chelsea target Declan Rice has been told that he would perform better in defence instead of midfielder amid talks of the Blues reigniting their interest next summer.
Marina Granovskaia is looking to sign the Englishmen as a midfielder but if Graeme Souness's verdict is anything to go by then the Champions League winners may have to re-examine their plan ahead of the 2022 summer transfer window.
Speaking on Sky Sports in the build-up to West Ham's Premier League clash against Manchester United, Souness said: "He’s a seasoned pro already, he’s got great energy levels, he’s an athlete and he senses danger.
"When it’s going forward and it’s about delivering cute passes I think he’s a wee bit short on that. Will he get that? We’ll have to wait and see.
"I see him maybe ultimately being a defender, the modern central defender has to be good on the ball under pressure and deliver passes, he can certainly do that.
