Man threatened with scissors and hit by a guitar in Beeston burglary

A man was reportedly hit by a guitar and threatened with scissors during a burglary in Beeston.

Police were called out to an address in Anderson Crescent at around 5pm on Tuesday (January 12).

It was reported that a man assaulted the victim with a guitar, and threatened him with scissors, after gaining access to his property before getting away.

It is unknown if anything was taken and detectives have launched a witness appeal.

Detective Sergeant Charlotte Henson said: “We are making enquiries into this report and would appeal to anyone who may have seen something suspicious to get in touch.

“Robbery is a serious offence and we take all reports very seriously and will investigate incidents thoroughly.

“We will always take appropriate action against those who are found to have committed such offences."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 453 of January 12.
