Man taken to hospital after two-car crash in West Lothian

A man was taken to hospital following a two-car crash in West Lothian.

The collision was reported at 9.05pm on Sunday on the A705 between Blackburn and Seafield.

It's understood two hatchbacks were involved and concerned locals warned about the road on Facebook.

Emergency services were called to the scene, with the fire service attending due to fears one of the cars would catch fire.

A man was taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering injuries which were not life-threatening.

The road was blocked by the emergency service vehicles before later reopening.
