A man has been taken to hospital after emergency services were called to a 'concern for welfare' incident at a park in Wythenshawe.
Police, firefighters and ambulance crews responded to the incident in Hollyhedge Park at around 3.30pm today (Tuesday).
A man was in a pond in the park, a spokesperson for the fire service confirmed.
Emergency services came to his aid and he was taken to hospital from the scene.

In a statement, a NWAS spokesperson said: "We received a call reporting a concern for welfare at 3.35pm.
"We mobilised a number of resources to the scene including two ambulances, an advanced paramedic and our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
"We’ve taken one patient to hospital."
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire crews were called to reports of a person in water in Hollyhedge Park just after 3.30pm.
"Crews from Wythenshawe and Cheadle and a technical response unit from Leigh were quickly on scene and found a man in a pond.
"Crews soon went the water and helped the man onto dry land.
"We left the scene after around an hour."
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed they attended at a 'concern for welfare' incident.
