Man taken to hospital after car crashed into scaffolding in Nottingham

A man was taken to hospital after a car crashed with scaffolding in Nottingham.

Police were called to Meadows Way on Sunday morning near to the Portland Centre.

It's not believed he suffered any serious injuries, the force confirmed.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Meadows Way in Nottingham at around 11.45am on Sunday 24 May to reports that a car had collided with some scaffolding.

"Officers attended and the man was taken to hospital but it's not believed he suffered any serious injuries."
