A 22-year-old man is in serious condition after he was struck by two semi trucks Tuesday on Interstate 80 in southwest suburban Country Club Hills.
About 11:05 a.m., the two semis were eastbound on I-80 in the far right lane when the man, a Homewood resident, ran in front of them near Pulaski Road and was struck by both, Illinois State police said.
He was taken to the hospital in serious condition but has been stabilized, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
