Man spotted in bushes arrested for 'indecent exposure' near houses

A man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure after being spotted acting suspiciously in bushes.

Police were called to the area of New Chester Road, Rock Ferry after a report was made.

Officers were told of a person “acting suspiciously in an area of bushes near to residential housing” and arrested a man at the scene.

Police said an investigation is now taking place regarding the incident.

A spokesperson fo r Merseyside Police said: “A 50-year-old male has recently been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in the area of New Chester Road, Rock Ferry.

“This is following reports of a person acting suspiciously in an area of bushes near to residential housing.

“An investigation is now taking place regarding the incident.”
