Police have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to after two buses were set on fire.

Around £200,000 worth of damage was caused after the top deck of the 154 bus from Croydon to Morden was ravaged by fire on Friday 8 October.

The driver immediately called for help while passengers rushed out of the burning vehicle as it travelled down Mollison Drive in South Beddington. No injuries were reported.

Authorities also want to speak to the same man in connection with another arson on a 154 bus that took place on Sunday 3 October.

A small fire was discovered at the rear as it travelled from West Croydon to Morden.

This fire was extinguished before serious damage occurred.

The arson is believe to have caused almost £200k worth of damage to the 154 bus (pictured) (Met Police)

Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command continue to investigate.

Anyone who recognises this man, or any witnesses or people who have information that could assist the investigation are asked to call police on 101 or contact via Twitter @MetCC. Please quote CAD8509/08OCT
