A section of the road remained behind a police cordon this afternoon as detectives carried out inquiries.

A resident, who asked not to be named, said the incident began with an argument between two men in a VW Golf.

"There was a lad shouting at another lad in the driver's seat 'get out the f***ing car'," the witness said.

Inquiries are ongoing (ASP)

"The lad wouldn't get out.

"This was going on for a few minutes.

"The lad kept going round to the driver's side trying to get him out.

"The other lad then drove into the bus stop, he was trying to get away from the lad shouting at him.

"Then the first lad dragged the driver out of the car and got in.

"He reversed the car away from the bus stop and then I saw the other lad on the floor.
