A man was 'seriously assaulted' by a group of men who asked him for money inside a store at Manchester Fort shopping park, police have revealed.
Greater Manchester Police said he refused and it 'subsequently resulted in a fight'. Detectives are investigating and have now issued an appeal for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to come forward.
Police said at 4.30pm on Saturday, June 10, the man was 'asked for money' in one of the Cheetham Hill Road park's stores by a group of men.

He went on to be 'seriously assaulted' and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries have not been further described. It's also not been revealed which store he was in.
In a statement, GMP said: "Officers are appealing for information following reports of an assault at Manchester Fort Shopping Park on Saturday, 10 June 2023.
"At around 4.30pm in one of the shopping park's businesses, a man was asked for money by a group of men. He refused and this subsequently resulted in a fight.

"The man was then seriously assaulted, receiving hospital treatment for his injuries. The group were later seen driving away from the retail park.
"Investigators are now asking for any witnesses to please get in touch in order to assist with their enquiries. Officers would like to speak to anyone who was at the scene at the time, or has dashcam footage of the incident."
