A man was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car near Asda.
Emergency services were called to Prescot Road in Old Swan at around 4pm on Saturday, December 18, to reports of an RTC.
Merseyside Police said the incident involved a pedestrian who was hit by a car.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries which are not believed to be serious, police said.
According to Traffic Monitoring Site Inrix, the road was closed in both directions between Green Lane and Day Street.
One witness reported seeing a police cordon in place outside Asda on Green Lane.
The road was reopened at around 6.15pm.
