Man rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Hunslet

A man was rushed to hospital in Leeds after he was hit by a car.

Emergency services were called to Beza Road at 7pm yesterday (Thursday) to reports a man had been hit by a car.

The man had a leg injury but West Yorkshire Police said it wasn’t life threatening.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue attended the scene as well as Yorkshire Ambulance Service who confirmed they had been called to the scene last night.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called at 7pm on Thursday February 24 to a report that a man had received a leg injury after being struck by a car on land on Beza Road.

“The injury was not life threatening and the man was taken to hospital for treatment.”
