A MAN has been left injured after he was struck with a weapon on a street in Glasgow, as police launch an investigation into the incident.
Police are looking for two people in connection with a serious assault that took place on the Whitefield Road area of Govan on Thursday at around 10pm.
A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after he was approached and attacked by two men, one of whom had a weapon, police said.
The condition of the 28-year-old man is currently unknown.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Nicol McPherson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
