Man robbed on the Near North Side

A 53-year-old man was robbed Tuesday on the Near North Side.

He was outside about 10:10 p.m. in the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue when he was approached by two males who went through his pockets and stole his cash, Chicago police said.

He fell during the robbery and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said. He is in good condition.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
